Oct. 19th, 2003 08:53 pmThe good: Carpenter, who is a good friend above and beyond the bounds of good friendship, used her *car* to take me and my giant laundry backlog (two double loads and three standard loads) to the laundromat. And then I conned Sofer into taking this drafting table I had gotten in a furniture giveaway from the ex's aunt and hadn't and was never going to use, the removal of which, along with the subtraction of the laundry, has left my room feeling more tidy, less crammed, and more spacious. Also, I bought thread and actually *mended* a couple things. ::checks for apocalypse:: So yay on the domestic front.
The bad: I seem to have a cold. I hate colds particularly when I intend to be doing a lot of benchwork and I have to take the gloves on and off every time I want to blow my nose. Guess what I have planned for tomorrow? Foo.
