Nimona, 2023 movie. We watched this, so I should write it down. For me it was a case of an adaptation surpassing the source. Spoilers : I always had mixed feelings about the comic - I mostly don't care for amoral/actively malicious characters, and was in fact considering writing a post-canon story along the lines of Ballister and Ambrosius getting a year together before Nimona comes back and ruins their lives, until I decided it had no audience (Nimona readers generally being fans of the title character) and I would rather work on other projects. Anyways, I liked the movie a lot more than the comic, for having reimagined Nimona as sympathetic and not actually evil, and the plot was a lot tighter. And I liked a bunch of their animation choices.
