The Well, Jake Wyatt and Choo, 2022 graphic novel. Some interesting stuff here about wishes and whether them coming true is a good thing, but I wasn't super into it. I had a hard time pushing through my initial dislike of "the plot happens because someone does something dumb" plots, and then, I don't know, I had trouble suspending disbelief - the wishes all happen to be physically plausible but difficult? there aren't kids snatching coins from the well all the time? I guess we're supposed to read the whole thing as a setup to get the protagonist to finish her family's quest? But the art was good, and it's a perfectly reasonable little fantasy story, I guess.
